Baja fish tacos

3lbs talapia 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp paprika (I use chili powder too)   Slaw 1lb shredded cabbage 1/2 c sour cream 1 1/2 TBS vinegar   corn tortillas fresh cilantro fresh limes salsa Cook fish in Pan with a little olive oil. Use all the spices on the fish. Cook til it flakes, only about 3 mins on each side. Make the slaw in a bowl, chop up cabbage and add sour cream and vinegar mix very well, stick in fridge while u cook fish. I also usually cook black beans to stick in the tacos. And cook mexi rice for the side.    These r are family favorite! My recipe is from my mom ;) By gorski family

Super juicy Burgers

What U will need:
1-2 pounds lean ground beef
1-2 pounds ground sausage

for seasoning you will need:
worstchester sauce
ground onion powder
garlic powder
montreal steak seasoning
A1 thick in hardy

combine the sausage and ground beef really well
then use the following seasoning as you like.
once everything is well combined cook your burgers.
since u are using sauage you need to make sure the burgers are cooked all the way threw.

BBQ MeatLoaf

A family favorite!

2-2 1/2 ground beef or turkey
2 eggs
1 cup water
1 pkg of dried chicken stuffing mix
1/2 - 1 cup bbq sauce (I use sweet baby rays)

**dont forget to put some sauce on the top of the loaf!

Bake at 375degrees
1 hr 10 mins!
let cool before serving.

The Best Guacamole

Things u will need:
8-10 Avocados depending on the group u are cooking for
1 Serrano chili pepper
1 can fire roasted tomatoes
1 diced onion
pepper
lime juice
season salt
chilli powder

To Make:
1. Take all the avocados and remove all the yummy-ness and put in a medium bowl
2. mash up all of the avocados
3. dice up onion & Serrano & add to bowl
4. add in the can of fire roasted tomatoes
5. add 1TBSP of pepper, season salt & chilli powder & 2TBSP of lime Juice
6. Combine it all really well & enjoy with chips or Taquitos

* trick..to keep the Guacamole from going brown as quick put a few of the avocado pits in the guacamole after it has all been mixed

Deo's Chicken Taquito's

Things u will need:
1 large boneless skinless chicken breast for ever 4 taquito's u want to produce
2 bags of Mexican grated cheese
Corn tortillas
Olive Oil to cook corn tortillas
toothpicks to hold together


To Make:
1.Boil your chicken breasts until the chicken is very tender
2.shred chicken up by HAND
3.cook corn tortillas in Olive oil for a few 10 seconds on medium heat on each side to make them easier to work with
4. stuff the tortillas with some cheese & shredded chicken, wrap up and secure with toothpicks
5. make single layers of taquito's in a baking dish or dishes depending on how many u make
6.BAKE for 350 for 20-25 Minutes uncovered
Time to Eat!!

Skillet Lasanga

1 pound ground beef
1 small onion
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 cups diced tomatoes ( undrained)
1 1/4 cups water
1 8oz can tomatoe sauce
1 Tbsp dried parsley flakes
1 Tbsp basil leaves
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups bow tie pasta ( uncooked)
1 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
dash basil, pepper

In large skillet, Brown beef with onion & garlic(drain) Add diced tomatoes, water, tomatoe sauce, parsely, basil, oregano, salt. Mix well. Stir in Uncooked pasta, bring to a boil, stiring occassionally. Recuce heat. Cover, simmer for 20 mins or until tender. Stir in cottage cheese. cover with parmesan cheese, basil and pepper and cover for 5 mintues. then serve!

Freezer Jam

you'll need:
.four 1-lb containers of fresh straberries or six 6-oz containers of blackberries or raspberries
. 1.5 cups of sugar
. 1 package ball frezzer jam pectin
. frezzer safe canning jars or small tubber ware containers

Wash, stem and slice berries, then place in a shallow baking pan

use a masher to crush berries ( consistency will depend on how chuncky you like your jam)

in a seprate bowl, mix together pectin and sugar
add mashed berries into mixture and stir for 3 mins
scoop jam into small freezer safe jars( 4-6 oz size)
let jam set for 30 mins, then store in your freezer

can store in freezer for up to one year or in refrigerator for 1 month
